New restaurants coming to the Virginia Street Corridor

McHenry's Plum Garden owner Perry Moy is excited to bring Chinese cuisine to the Crystal Lake community. Perry Moy and his sons are planning to open two new restaurant concepts in Crystal Lake in 2018 at 446 W. Virginia St.

The father and sons team are no strangers to the food and beverage industry bringing decades of businesses experience with various business concepts.

One new restaurant will be a sit-down Chinese style restaurant and include items similar to the well-known and loved food found at the McHenry Plum Garden.

The other restaurant concept will consist of a sushi bar with an area to relax, unwind, socialize and enjoy some evening entertainment over cocktails.

When asked, why Crystal Lake, Moy replied, "we have so many customers from Crystal Lake we knew our restaurant would be a great fit and we wanted to be part of community."

Perry Moy brings over 50 years of restaurant experience to Crystal Lake.

This cuisine and entertainment venue will be a great addition to the Virginia Street Corridor.
