Library Group Welcomes Fans of Books Made into Movies

People who enjoy reading a book, then watching its corresponding movie are welcome to participate in the Who Filmed This Book discussion group on Wednesdays, Sept. 13 and 27 at the Schaumburg Library's Hanover Park Branch, 1266 Irving Park Road. The group will discuss "Bid Time Return" by Richard Matheson at the first meeting, then watch and discuss "Somewhere in Time" at the second. A limited number of loan copies are available at the Hanover Park Branch Library.

Matheson's "Bid Time Return" is a science fiction romance that tells the story of a 1970s man who is captivated by the photo of a 19th century stage actress and travels back in time to court her. In 1980, it was made into the cult classic film "Somewhere in Time".
