Sponsorships available for MCC's 50th anniversary gala

The Friends of McHenry County College Foundation will offer sponsorship opportunities for the College's 50th anniversary gala "Moonlight Masquerade" at 5:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at the Starline Factory in Harvard.

The black tie-optional event will feature a celebration of higher education in McHenry County and includes an art gallery, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, a formal dinner and program, and silent and live auctions - all to generate support for student scholarships.

Event sponsorship support for the 50th anniversary gala allows a greater percentage of funds raised to directly support scholarships that will provide future MCC students with the opportunity for a better and more successful future.

"This is an exciting and historic year for McHenry County College," said Brian DiBona, executive director of the Friends of MCC Foundation. "This gala is the perfect way to celebrate 50 years of student success while providing our community the opportunity to transform the lives of our students. While funding for community colleges has decreased, our students' need for financial assistance and innovative programming remains. Every dollar raised at this Gala will make a difference."

Several levels of sponsorship opportunities are available, including Golden Anniversary Sponsor at $15,000, Premier Scots Sponsor at $10,000, Scots Pride Sponsor at $7,500, Gala Celebration Sponsor at $5,000, Signature Cocktail Sponsor at $2,500, Premium Table Sponsor at $3,500, Supporting Sponsor at $2,500 and a Multimedia Sponsor at $500.

Dress is cocktail or business attire, black tie optional; and masks are admired, but not required. Tickets are $150 each or $1,500 for a table of 10 seats.

Those interested in being a 50th anniversary Gala sponsor may contact Brian DiBona at bdibona@mchenry.edu or (815) 479-7510 with questions or to register.

Deadline to register as a sponsor is Oct. 2. For more information, visit www.mchenry.edu/50.
