Lake in the Hills Parks and Recreation

The evening Lake in the Hills Summer Sunset 5K Run/Walk on Friday, Sept. 1, allows for you to start the weekend off right! Come for the run/walk and stay for the entertainment at the annual Summer Sunset Festival.

The race will start at 7 p.m. at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road.

Register online only at www.raceentry.com/race-reviews/sunset-5k-fun-run-2-mile-walk. Cost is $35 for the timed 5K or $25 for the fun run.

Race-day registration will be 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.

Many flexible sponsorship opportunities are available that include in-kind donations or monetary donations. Sponsorship starts at $50. For details, contact Kristi Brewer, race director, at kbrewer@lith.org or (847) 960-7463.

Volunteers are essential to the success of the race. All volunteers receive a volunteer T-shirt and festival food voucher.
