Dalton returns to full participation, Fields remains limited by ankle injury
Bears quarterback Andy Dalton was a full participant in practice Wednesday after dealing with a groin injury.
Meanwhile, rookie Justin Fields (ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday. Both quarterbacks sat out Sunday's 25-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Bears defensive back Duke Shelley (heel) and tight end Jimmy Graham (rest) did not practice. In addition to Fields, veteran left tackle Jason Peters (ankle) was limited.
In more positive news, several injured Bears returned to full participation. Rookie left tackle Teven Jenkins, who injured his shoulder Sunday, was a full participant. Receiver and return specialist Jakeem Grant, who missed Sunday's game with a concussion, was also a full participant.
Others dealing with injuries include defensive tackle Eddie Goldman (finger), linebacker Caleb Johnson (shoulder), linebacker Christian Jones (finger), receiver Darnell Mooney (ankle) and kicker Cairo Santos (ribs), all of whom were full participants Wednesday.
Transactions: The Bears placed safety Teez Tabor (ankle) and cornerback Xavier Crawford (concussion) on injured reserve. A stint on IR requires a three-week minimum absence, so their seasons are over.
