Bulls' Arcidiacono describes quarantine life

Bulls guard Ryan Arcidiacono talked about how he spent his time in quarantine while the rest of the Bulls were on a West Coast trip.

He said he tried to stay in touch with teammates Lauri Markkanen, Tomas Satoransky and Chandler Hutchison, who were in the same boat. Hutchison and Satoransky are both out due to positive COVID tests.

"I was just quarantined in my apartment," Arcidiacono said. "Two-bedroom, two-bath, a living room and a kitchen. So I couldn't really do too much. I had a little yoga mat, couple bands, kind of like prison workout stuff, foam roller here and there.

"Couldn't really get any cardio in but I just tried to keep my mind as sharp as I could. Watched all the games. Group texting, face-timing Hutch, Sato and Lauri who were quarantining as well. Tried to stay in touch and keep that chemistry going."

Markkanen was asked whether he thinks the NBA will be able to continue with the season.

"I mean we knew it's not going to be perfect so we were kind of expecting this kind of stuff," he said. "That's been our mindset - next man up.

"A lot of teams are going through it right now so it's not our decision to make, so I'm not going to spend any energy on that. I'm just happy to be playing basketball again, hopefully we can keep doing that."
