Clubhouse Chatter: Are you enjoying watching sports on TV with no fans?

What the sports staff has to say now that the games have resumed.

Not really. I try and try and try to get into it but just can't. Baseball is especially boring to watch with no fans in the stands and piped in fan noise. NBA and NHL games have been a little better and I can tolerate golf, which I've always enjoyed taking a Sunday nap to. But overall, sports with no fans in the stands stinks.

I'm generally watching for work and often mute the sound, so it really doesn't matter to me. It is odd, however, to get no fan reaction when something big happens. Very strange time, indeed.

Rather have this than no sports. It's still really strange, but starting to get used to it. During some of the dramatic NBA playoff games is where I really miss having fans there and being in home arenas.

It's definitely different, either watching sports on TV or being there in person for MLB games at Guaranteed Rate Field or Wrigley. Tough to enjoy since fans in the seats bring so much energy to games, but for now, just having sports up and running is a positive thing.

I have enjoyed watching the Stanley Cup playoffs. The announcers, for the most part, have done a remarkable job under the circumstances. I've really enjoyed watching golf as well. Across the board, though, it will be nice when the roars can be restored to the sports we love.

I am enjoying it, mainly because of the enthusiasm of the players and the humorous and insightful banter of the announcers, especially Jason Benetti and Steve Stone. And I'm glad we have any baseball at all.
