Bulls' White makes All-Rookie second team

Bulls guard Coby White was named to the All-Rookie second team, the NBA announced Tuesday. The 6-4 guard from North Carolina finished the season on a roll, averaging 26.1 points, 4.4 assists and shooting 48 percent from the field over his final nine games.

Had he found his groove a little sooner, he might have been an easy pick for the first team, but he finished the season averaging 13.2 points and 2.7 assists. White was Eastern Conference rookie of the month in February.

The first team included Memphis' Ja Morant and Brandon Clarke, Miami's Kendrick Nunn, New Orleans' Zion Williamson and Golden State's Eric Paschall. Nunn, who wasn't drafted, is a Chicago native who began his college career at Illinois.

Joining White on the second team were Miami's Tyler Herro, Toronto's Terence Davis, Charlotte's P.J. Washington and Washington's Rui Hachimura.
