Greetings from Spring Training: A sleepy Sunday it was not

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Sunday's Cubs-Dodgers Cactus League game was an early battle between two large market teams.

There was a large crowd to match at Camelback Ranch.

Nearly three hours before first pitch, the parking lot was packed and cars were being detoured to grass fields.

Lines inside the stadium were at least 20 deep at every concession stand and the crowd sounded much like it would at Wrigley Field or Dodger Stadium during the regular season.

It was anything but a relaxed Sunday inside and outside of Camelback Ranch.

For some reason, ADOT (Arizona Department of Transportation) thought it was a good idea to completely shut down I-10 West right before the 101 Loop, which leads to Camelback Ranch.

That decision caused massive traffic jams and the Cubs didn't even arrive until about 30 minutes before the game.
