White Sox Postcard: Smile, you're on camera!

GLENDALE, Ariz. - On a quiet morning at Camelback Ranch, the White Sox primped, preened and posed.

Photo Day!

It's an annual event in spring training, and the player images you'll see on the videoboards at Guaranteed Rate Field this season were most likely taken on Thursday before the Sox's workout.

Photo Day is also the time select players record public service announcements, like the one White Sox ace Lucas Giolito did on bullying.

The Sox and their major-league peers are used to having cameras constantly in their faces.

I take a lot of pictures during camp and often get waves and peace signs from players I'm trying to get in focus.

Different times, indeed.
