Arlington Heights Chilly Open set for Jan. 11

The Arlington Heights Park District hosts its annual Chilly Open on Saturday, Jan. 11, at Arlington Lakes Golf Club. 1211 S. New Wilke Road.

Each player gets a round of golf, a raffle ticket with a chance to win a special prize and all the delicious hot chili one can eat. Coffee, beer and hot chocolate also will be available, and prizes are awarded to the top players in male, female, and senior divisions.

The cost is $35 per player for 9 or 18 holes, or $25 per player for 3 or 6 holes. That includes the golf, raffle tickets, two drink tickets and an indoor mini golf tournament.

Starting times begin at 8 a.m. Preregistered golfers may select their tee times on a first-come basis.
