Windy City Bulls fall short against Raptors

The Windy City Bulls started strong but couldn't maintain their hot shooting in a 113-109 loss Wednesday to Raptors 905 at Sears Centre Arena.

The Bulls shot .500 from both the field and 3-point range to grab a 29-25 lead in the first quarter. Milton Doyle led the way with 7 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds.

The teams combined for 68 points in the second quarter, with 905 leading by 10 at one point.

The Raptors trailed going into the fourth quarter, but 12 Bulls turnovers resulted in 905 taking a 100-98 lead and never looking back.

The game featured seven lead changes and five ties.

The 905 finished with seven players in double figures including Paul Watson Jr. with 20 points and six rebounds, and Dewan Hernandez with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The Bulls finished with six players in double figures led by Doyle with 28 points, Max Strus with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Justin Simon with a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double.

Windy City (6-6) hosts the Austin Spurs Saturday night.
