Kaneland wins second straight
Kaneland improved to 2-1 with a 44-26 win over Belvidere Monday at the Wauconda Turkey Tournament.
The Knights raced to leads of 13-2 after the first quarter and 27-7 at halftime.
Kylie Holubecki led the way with 11 points, 5 steals and 3 rebounds. Keely Noel added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals, and Katharine Marshall and Kelsey Modaff both scored 5 points.
Stagg 65, St. Edward 56: At the Hinsdale South tournament, the Lady Wave fell short despite Brooke Biggins scoring 18 points, Samantha Ottinger tallying 14 and Madeline Ellsworth adding 8.
