Boys soccer: Crystal Lake South, Huntley earn FVC wins

Crystal Lake South 3, McHenry 0: Alex Canfield had a goal and an assist to lead the Gators (12-3-4, 6-0-1) while Michael Dejworek and Tom Coughlin handled the rest of the scoring. Carson Hill saved the only shot on goal, earning the shutout for CL South.

Prairie Ridge 4, Burlington Central 2: Frankie Mazziotta scored both goals as the Rockets fell in Fox Valley Conference action. Sam Buckman saved 7 shots in goal for Burlington Central.

Huntley 4, Hampshire 1: The Red Raiders (8-8-1, 3-4) took a 2-0 lead into halftime and never looked back. Anthony Reyes, Thomas Rodriguez, Austin Killen and Pierce Abed contributed to the balanced scoring attack, and Sam Bellantuono finished with 2 assists. Ethan Kornas tended goal for Huntley and saved 8 shots.
