Baseball: St. Francis, Naperville North, Addison Trail win

St. Francis 3, Riverside-Brookfield 0:

Nick Kosmetatos pitched a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts and no walks for the Spartans (15-3, 4-1) in their Metro Suburban Conference win. Trevor Hicks went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI while Nino Christopher had 3 hits.

Naperville North 12, Naperville Central 2:

The Huskies (9-10, 3-8 DuPage Valley) scored 7 runs in the first inning en route to taking two of three in the cross-town series. Quinn Sheehan went 3-for-3 while Ben Lindflott, Zach Dinkel and Cameron Gericke drove in 2 runs. Cliff Vickers was the winning pitcher in the five-inning game.

Addison Trail 14-7, Morton 2-6:

The Blazers (8-13, 4-10) swept the West Suburban Gold series by rallying with 2 runs in the bottom of the seventh inning in Game 2. Starting pitcher Alex Conrad came through with the game-winning hit. Reliever Jonathan Lollino was the winning pitcher. Game 1 winning pitcher Vince Daudelin, A.J. Carlson, Mike Scali and Mark Rosal drove in 2 runs in the opener.

Wheaton North 3-8, Geneva 1-6:

The Falcons (15-7, 10-3 DuKane Conference) broke a tie in both games by scoring twice in the top of the seventh inning. Jay Gail pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief for Ryan Russman to win the opener. Gail went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI in the second game. Joe Klein and Carson Roberts also drove in 2 runs. Tyler Woltman struck out the side in the bottom of the seventh to pick up the win.

WW South 8-5, Lake Park 2-4:

The Tigers (10-11, 4-9) swept in the DuKane Conference. Matt Brennan went 3-fo-3 in the opener in support of winning pitcher Matt Scherrman. Brennan and Scherrman had 2 hits in the second game. Mike Meissner got the win and Michael Duttlinger the save. John DeConcilis went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI in the Game 2 for Lake Park (9-12, 4-9).

Neuqua Valley 2, Metea Valley 1:

An error allowed the Wildcats (18-5, 9-1 DuPage Valley) to walk off with the victory in the bottom of the seventh inning. Winning pitcher Nolan Clifford struck out two in an inning of relief for starter Jake Karaba.

Glenbard South 11, West Chicago 4:

A 5-run fourth inning broke open the Upstate Eight victory for the Raiders (15-8, 11-5). Drew Vozza, Jack Dupuis, Logan Barnick and Easton Lange combined for 9 RBI. Mason Barnick went 3-for-5. Winning pitcher Ryan Creevy scattered 6 hits. Bobby Bartlett and Spencer Usedom had 2 hits for West Chicago (5-13, 5-10), which also beat East Aurora 13-0 on Saturday.

West Aurora 5-1, Glenbard East 0-2:

The Rams (15-9, 11-5 Upstate Eight) won Game 2 by scoring both runs in the top of the sixth inning. Kevin Stallings was the winning pitcher with 4 innings in relief of starter Jacob Bailey.
