Blackhawks part ways with assistant coach Granato

The Blackhawks announced Wednesday that the team and assistant coach Don Granato have decided to part ways. "We appreciate Don's contributions to the Blackhawks organization while on the staff," said coach Jeremy Colliton. "We wish him well in the future as he pursues other opportunities."

Before joining the staff on June 15, 2017, Granato was the associate head coach at Wisconsin. The 51-year-old Downers Grove native also played for the Badgers from 1988-91.
