Metea Valley 19, Naperville Central 9:

Cade Sullivan and Jason Kirchner both homered and combined for 6 RBI for the Mustangs (14-0, 3-0) in the DuPage Valley Conference win. Jake Kmiecik and Sam Labarbara each drove in 3 runs. Kevin Chan went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and Nathan Brinker homered for Naperville Central.

Glenbard South 3, Elgin 2:

The Raiders (8-6, 4-3) broke out to a 3-0 sixth-inning lead in their Upstate Eight Conference win. Jacob Cyrus, who drove in a run, picked up the win and Tyler Rush got the save with 1⅓ innings of scoreless relief.

Neuqua Valley 10, Benet 0:

Nolan Clifford launched a grand slam and Justin Blazek went 3-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBI for the Wildcats (9-4) in the six-inning victory. Winning pitcher Casey Pickering struck out five.

York 8, Wheaton North 0:

Ryan Ross and Ian Steinorth homered in the nonconference win for the Dukes (5-6). Jon Meyers pitched into the seventh inning to win on the mound.

Hinsdale Central 7, Geneva 3:

A 4-run first-inning paced the Red Devils (4-9) to the nonconference victory. Ethan Harrast tripled and drove in 3 runs. Winning pitcher Simon Lane struck out eight in 5 innings.
