Christie's triple-double leads Meadows past Maine East

Max Christie had a triple-double Tuesday night to lead Rolling Meadows to a 55-46 nonconference boys basketball win over Maine East.

Christie, a sophomore, scored 13 points, had 14 rebounds and added 10 assists.

Danny Fallon added 14 points for the Mustangs (14-10) and Javonte Warrener had 11.

Barrington 63, Crystal Lake Central 59: Jason Boock scored 25 points to lead Barrington to a nonconference win at Crystal Lake Central.

Mark Johnson added 11 points and Damien Zivak had 10 for the Broncos, who improved to 16-8 on the season with the win.

Crystal Lake South 53, Palatine 46: Tommy Swanson had 15 points and Julian Campbell 11 for Palatine (10-16) in a nonconference loss.

Hoffman 64, Hampshire 60: In nonconference action, Sheldon Barnett-Morales had 28 points and Avan Harris added 16 to lead Hoffman (7-17) to the win.

St. Viator 65, Lake Forest Academy 40: Jeremiah Hernandez had 17 points and Connor Kochera added 16 as the Lions (21-5) won in nonconference play.
