Round Lake wins again, tops Antioch
Freshman guard Taylor Major scored 12 points, and Round Lake hit seven 3-pointers en route to a 41-21 win over host Antioch in Northern Lake County Conference girls basketball action on Thursday night.
Giselle Raygoza added 10 points, sinking three 3s, for the Panthers (12-8, 5-3), who won their third game in a row. Emily Etherington (8 points) and Diane Flade (6) each made a pair of 3-pointers.
Antioch (3-19, 1-8) got 7 points and 4 steals from Rachel Phillips. Sequoits freshman Avery Larson grabbed 9 rebounds and scored 4 points.
