Glenbrook North 69, Vernon Hills 45: Jake Barszcz led Vernon Hills with 17 points.

Lake Forest 59, Lake Zurich 48: The host Bears spotted the Scouts an 18-8 lead after one quarter and never recovered in the North Suburban Conference contest.

J.R. Cison and Will Tucker led Lake Zurich (2-5, 0-2) with 18 and 14 points, respectively. Tucker's buzzer-beating drive had the hosts within 31-19 at halftime. Joe Lococo added 11 points, including three 3-pointers, coming off the bench for the Bears, who lost their fourth game in a row.

Lake Forest (1-1 NSC) got 18 points from Jake Fisher and 14 from Crawford Bolton.
