Boys soccer: Elgin advances to regional final
Ramon Orozco had a goal and 2 assists for Elgin (15-1-3) in a 4-0 win over South Elgin on Tuesday in the Class 3A Huntley regional.
Cristopher Colin added a goal and an assist. Martin Jimenez and Jefferson Paulino combined for 4 saves in goal for the Maroons.
Elgin will play the winner of McHenry and Rockford East for the regional championship at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Harvard 2, Burlington Central 0: Trisatan Samuelian had 7 saves for Burlington Central as the Rockets were shut out in Class 2A regional play.
