Blakeney, Hutchison lead Bulls to summer league playoff win

After falling behind 28-13 late in the first quarter, the Chicago Bulls rallied for a 95-83 victory over Dallas on Wednesday at the Las Vegas summer league.

Antonio Blakeney led the Bulls with 28 points, while rookie center Wendell Carter Jr. had another solid performance with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Perhaps the most encouraging news was rookie forward Chandler Hutchison had his best game of the summer league with 16 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals.

Point guard Ryan Arcidiacono dished out 7 assists, Loyola product Donte Ingram added 13 points, and the Bulls made 15 of 33 shots from 3-point range.

The Bulls move on to the second round of the summer league tournament Saturday against Detroit at 3 p.m. on NBATV. Rookie Luka Doncic did not play for the Mavs. Rookie point guard Jalen Brunson from Stevenson High School had 8 points and 7 assists for Dallas.
