Here's a glance at one of the newest members of the Chicago Bulls:

Wendell Carter Jr.

Drafted: First round, No. 7 overall

Position: PF/C

College: Duke

Hometown: Atlanta, GA

Size: 6-foot-10, 251 pounds with a 7-4 wingspan

2017-18 statistics: 13.5 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 2.1 blocks, .560 field-goal percentage

How he can help: In theory, he'll be a solid interior defender and rim protector who will fit next to Lauri Markkanen in a frontcourt of the future. Carter shot 48 percent from 3-point range last year on just 46 attempts.

Quote: Well, Chauncey Billups compared him to ex-Bull Carlos Boozer on the ESPN broadcast.
