The Redhawks (17-15) upset the fourth seed in the Class 4A Hinsdale South sectional, advancing to the Naperville Central regional final behind a 5-hitter by Jared Suchevits. Sam Hojnar and Braden Lindmark had 2 hits while Suchevits drove in 2 runs.
York 2, Streamwood 0:
Charlie Pakenas pitched a 2-hitter with 6 strikeouts and a walk for the Dukes (21-11), who scored a run in the second inning and the fifth inning to advance to the Class 4A Elk Grove regional final. Ryan Ross went 3-for-3 with an RBI.
Wheaton North 7, Conant 1:
Tyler Woltman, Connor Olson, Joe Klein, Rocco Gambaiani and Jay Gail all had 2 hits as the Falcons (23-11) advanced to the Class 4A Willowbrook regional final. Jackson Gray went the distance on the mound while scattering 5 hits. Ryan Russman drove in 2 runs.

Ricky Castro didn't allow a hit in the four-inning victory for the Wildcats (29-3) in the Class 4A Yorkville regional semifinals. Ethan Schreier went 3-for-3 with a grand slam and 6 RBI. Evan Ranneklev also homered. Nick Taylor and Jack Rigoni had 3 hits.
