Scouting the Houston Dynamo: The Dynamo (3-3-3, 12 points) hasn't won at Toyota Park since 2009. In fact the Fire has won four of the last seven games against Houston at its home stadium. Houston also is winless in four games on the road this season. Mauro Manotas leads Houston with 5 goals, and Alberth Elis has 4 goals and 5 assists.

Scouting the Fire: The Fire (3-5-2, 11 points) sports an injury-depleted roster for this game, with captain Dax McCarty and rookie Elliot Collier the latest to join a long list of players who will miss the game and veteran forward Alan Gordon questionable with a back injury. Daniel Johnson and Tony Tchani could replace Collier and McCarty in the lineup. The Fire has just 13 goals in its first 10 games.
