Bandits to host open tryout session

The Chicago Bandits will host an open tryout session for prospective players to add to their 2018 roster, team officials announced Thursday morning.

The tryout session will be at 11 a.m. May 27 at The Ballpark at Rosemont.

Participants must be at least 21 years of age and have exhausted their collegiate eligibility before the start of the tryout session.

Interested players should RSVP by emailing Bandits general manager Toni Calmeyn at calmeynt@villageofrosemont.org.

Past additions to the Bandits roster through open tryouts include two-time All-NPF selections Brittany Cervantes and Natalie Hernandez and veteran second baseman Danielle Zymkowitz.

Fans are encouraged to come out to The Ballpark at Rosemont and watch the event live.
