Wolves clinch playoff berth

The Chicago Wolves wrapped up a playoff spot and maintained first place in the Central Division with a 5-1 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday night at Allstate Arena.

Forwards Scooter Vaughan, Brett Sterling and Wade Megan and defensemen Jake Bischoff and Jason Garrison scored for the Wolves (39-22-7-4), who clinched their 19th playoff berth in their 24-year history and took a 1-point lead over the Manitoba Moose with four games left in the regular season.

Goaltender Oscar Dansk (11-2-4) notched 25 saves to earn the win while Anders Lindback (31-20-4) posted 29 saves for the Admirals (37-29-4-1).
