One-sided wins for St. Viator, Prospect

St. Viator's boys basketball team improved to 19-5 with a 61-44 nonconference victory at St. Francis on Tuesday.

Treyvon Calvin (19 point), Jeremiah Hernandez (17) and Peter Lambesis (12) carried the scoring load for the East Suburban Catholic Conference leaders.

Prospect 61, Lyons 35: The Mid-Suburban East champs improved to 17-4 with a dominant nonconference showing at home.

Prospect is next in action of Friday at Grace Gym (at the former Arlington High) in a 7:30 p.m. matchup against Hersey.

Niles West 69, Rolling Meadows 66: The Mustangs came up short in a nonconference matchup on the road to slip to 11-11 overall. Rolling Meadows returns to action on Friday with a 6 p.m. tip against Elk Grove at Grace Gym.

Maine West 65, Downers Grove South 55: The Warriors (15-7) won for the fifth time in their last six outings in nonconference play.
