Bulls vs. Hornets scouting report

Bulls vs. Charlotte Hornets at the Spectrum Center, 6 p.m. Friday

TV: NBCSCH

Radio: WLS 890-AM

Outlook: The most recent Bulls victory was over Charlotte, back on Nov. 17 at the UC. The Hornets (9-14) have lost five of their last six games and will be playing for the second time without head coach Steve Clifford, who is taking a leave of absence due to undisclosed health reasons. Lead assistant Stephen Silas is the acting head coach. PG Kemba Walker (22.7 ppg) scored 47 points in the Nov. 17 game but missed a driving layup in the waning seconds with the Hornets down a point. SG Jeremy Lamb (15.3 ppg) and C Dwight Howard (15.1) are next on the scoring list. PF Frank Kaminsky sprained an ankle in Wednesday's loss to Golden State and is questionable for this one.
