Nazareth stops St. Viator's streak
St. Viator's football team saw a three-game winning streak snapped Friday in LaGrange Park.
The Lions dropped a 35-7 decision to Nazareth Academy in East Suburban Catholic Conference play.
St. Viator slipped to 5-3 overall and 4-2 in the ESCC, while Nazareth (7-1, 5-1) rebounded nicely after a 42-0 thumping against Marist in Week 7.
The Roadrunners are ranked No. 5 in the state in Class 6A.
St. Viator is playoff-eligible and finishes the regular season next week at Notre Dame.
