Grayslake Central 5, Grant 0: Peder Harvey and Dani Orozco each scored twice, Seb Hinestrosa had a goal and 2 assists, and host Rams clinched the Northern Lake County Conference championship on Senior Night.

Grayslake Central (11-6-2, 7-0), which led only 1-0 at halftime, also got assists from Ethan Mendoza, Logan Gallaher and Matt Glab. Rams keeper Greg Madjarov made 4 saves in earning his seventh shutout.

"These seniors have set a great example for the rest of the program with their work ethic this season," Grayslake Central coach Tom Hamilton said. "Everyone brought their best today, and our attack has been making big strides lately. Now we'll look to build on this as we prepare for regionals."

Warren 1, Round Lake 1: Warren got a late goal from sophomore Nolan Ehlers to pull out the tie in the nonconference match in Gurnee.

Round Lake (12-3-4) got its goal from Kevin Gomez on a header off Misael Tellez's free kick in the 42nd minute.

Just a few minutes later, the Blue Devils (10-10-3) lost a player to a red card and had to play a man down the rest of the way.

Ehlers took a service from Tommy Travelstead and beat Panthers keeper Ulies Nuno with a sliding kick from outside the box in the 73rd minute.
