3 questions about Cubs leading into today's NLDS Game 2

WASHINGTON — After Game 1 of the NLDS, we have these three questions about the Cubs:

1. Will the Cubs lineup look different in Game 2 on Saturday?

Yes, with the Nats throwing lefty Gio Gonzalez at the Cubs, the lineup figures to look more right-handed. That means Kyle Schwarber could sit, and Ian Happ and/or Albert Almora could crack the starting lineup.

2. What will be important for the Cubs in Game 2?

Keep Nationals leadoff man Trea Turner off the bases. They did a good job of that Friday night, and with Jon Lester pitching Saturday, it will be even more important to keep Turner from getting on and running wild. He had a big series against the Cubs at Nationals Park in June until getting hit by a pitch, and with Lester's problems throwing to first base, it will be doubly important to keep him off the basepaths.

3. How good are the Cubs right now?

Very good. Just watch them play defense. The running catch Javier Baez made in Game 1 looked like shades of 2016 all over again.
