Native American storyteller visits Elgin Public Museum

The Elgin Public Museum of Natural History & Anthropology in Lords Park will present award-winning storyteller Brian "Fox" Ellis with "Black Hawk's View of Illinois History" on Saturday.

The free event starts at 4 p.m. and is offered through the Illinois Humanities Road Scholars Speakers Bureau program.

Ellis, who starts his program with his family's connection to the Trail of Tears, weaves true history with folklore to provide insight into the world view of this respected leader of his people.
