Trout fishing for kids in Wood Dale

The DuPage Forest Preserve District hosts "Trout Fishing for Kids" at Wood Dale Grove Forest Preserve in Wood Dale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 26.

Kids ages 15 and under will get the chance to fish the 9-acre Grove Lake, which will be specially stocked with rainbow trout. Family members ages 16 and older can attend, but the focus will be on young anglers.

The event is free, and registration is not required. Some equipment will be available for loan, but participants are encouraged to bring their own gear. Bait is provided.

The entrance to Wood Dale Grove Forest Preserve is on Wood Dale Road, a half-mile north of Lake Street.
