McHenry County water forum

McHenry County residents can learn more about how vital, and vulnerable, the water supply is, and about the need to protect it during a virtual forum, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16.

The free McHenry County Water Forum is open to the public. The first 100 people to register, and attend, will be eligible for a $15 gift certificate to a premium McHenry County restaurant.

Professionally filmed presentations will be followed by a live Q&A. The forum will start at 5:30 p.m., with a 30-minute session in which viewers can meet with experts in virtual rooms to get their questions answered on topics such as well maintenance and testing, flooding, conservation, agriculture, and others. The presentations and live Q&A will run 6 to 7 p.m.
