Pair charged with burglary, use of stolen credit cards in Bartlett

Bartlett police arrested a Bartlett man and Elgin woman accused of burglary and possession of others' credit cards on Thursday while the pair were already in custody on unrelated burglary charges at the Rolling Meadows police station.

On May 14, Bartlett police had investigated several parked vehicles that were burglarized on Angelica Lane during the overnight hours.

The victims reported that a computer, credit cards, identification badges and other items were taken.

Bartlett police alleged Pawel D. Szymulewski and Gabrielle Y. Napier, both 27, burglarized the vehicles and attempted or completed a total of eight unauthorized transactions using stolen credit cards.

Napier's bond was set at $10,000 and Szymulewski's at $50,000 on Friday. Their next court appearance is scheduled for June 22.
