Editor's note: The story has been edited to indicate Trustee Tim Wilson took his oath with help from Assistant Village Administrator Peter Vadopalas.

Although he wasn't sworn in with the other trustees-elect two weeks ago, new Mundelein Trustee Tim Wilson joined them on the village board dais for Monday night's meeting.

Wilson was out of town when trustees Jenny Ross and Sol Cabachuela recited their oaths earlier this month.

Wilson took his oath separately, he said this week, with help from Assistant Village Administrator Peter Vadopalas.

Monday's meeting also was the first time Trustee Kerston Russell led a session in place of Mayor Steve Lentz. Lentz was absent because his mother had died, Russell explained.
