'We are dedicated to giving back': School of Rock Glenbrook hosting grand reopening for a cause

School of Rock Glenbrook is hosting a grand reopening from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 8, in their parking lot at 3139 Dundee Road, Northbrook.

The event will include a staff show and will help benefit scholarships for School of Rock summer camp programs.

"We are dedicated to giving back to our community," says School of Rock Glenbrook and Oak Park owner Amy Renzulli. "We want the inside of our school to reflect the community outside. Anyone who walks through our doors should see someone who looks like them."

The lineup includes School of Rock Glenbrook performance students at 4 p.m.; School of Rock Oak Park Show Team at 4:20 p.m.; and the School of Rock Staff Show from 5 to 7 p.m.

The event is free. There will also be raffles, free mini-lessons, a virtual food truck by Grill House, food from Maharaj Indian Grill, a professional photographer and more.
