The annual Lombard Lilac Parade has been postponed due to concerns about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Lombard village officials and the parade committee and have tentatively rescheduled it for Sunday, Sept. 19. But the new date is dependent on the state of Illinois entering Phase 5 of recovery.

The 2021 parade originally was scheduled for May 16.
