Incumbent-led slate wins Lake Zurich trustee race

The Lake Zurich Forward slate featuring incumbents Mary Beth Ueker and Greg Weider and newcomer Dan Bobrowski won in the race for three Lake Zurich village trustee seats. Challenger Eric Dubiel was far behind.

Euker, an attorney, is seeking her second 4-year term. Weider, a former member of the village's parks and recreation advisory board, was appointed to the village boat in 2016 and won his first full term in 2017. Dubiel has been a vocal critic of the current board.

Unofficial results had Euker, Weider and Bobrowski more than doubling the vote totals of Dubiel. But those numbers don't include late mail-in ballots and provisional ballots. Euker had 1,709 votes, Weider had 1,603, Bobrowski had 1,593, and Dubiel finished with 688.
