Northbrook Village Board's strong statement

The Northbrook Village Board's strong statement in last week's Voice E-Newsletter made me proud to live here: "The Village of Northbrook is committed to inclusivity and denounces xenophobia and all acts of violence. We are deeply disturbed by the attack in Atlanta, Georgia against the Asian American community. Although the attack happened far from Northbrook, it impacts our community and our families. We stand with our Asian American community to denounce racism and acts of violence. We pledge to continue to work to promote tolerance and inclusion. We are Northbrook Strong."

Are there other voices that have been raised about being a welcoming community on other social media? Let's look at and see.

Mary Hansen, Northbrook
