Arlington Heights election forums set for Saturday

Candidates in three contested races in the Arlington Heights area will share their positions on the issues during a series of virtual forums Saturday.

The Arlington Heights Memorial Library and League of Women Voters of Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect and Buffalo Grove are co-hosting the live, nonpartisan forums, which will feature candidates running for Arlington Heights village board, Arlington Heights Elementary District 25 school board, and the Northwest Suburban High School District 214 school board.

The village board forum is from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by District 25 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., and District 214 from 4 to 5 p.m.
