Huntley woman's car slides into Tropical Smoothie
A 75-year-old Huntley woman's car slid on ice and struck the front of Tropical Smoothie, authorities said. Nobody was injured, but the building was damaged.
The woman's 2017 Ford Escape slid in the parking lot, went over the curb and struck the building, according to a news release from the Huntley Police Department. The Huntley Police Department and Huntley Fire Department found the woman's car partially inside the Tropical Smoothie, 12162 Route 47.
Crews determined the building was structurally sound, but the front entrance had to be barricaded until it could be repaired, the release said.
No citations were issued.
