Woman's body found in snowbank behind Park Ridge strip mall
A woman's body was discovered in a snowbank behind a business in Park Ridge Saturday afternoon.
The Chicago Tribune reported that the body was found around 12:30 p.m. in a parking lot behind a strip mall at 800 W. Higgins Road.
She wasn't immediately identified by police, according to the Tribune, but was described as about 40 years old. Her cause of death is unknown. An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.
Police said the "incident appears to be isolated and there is no danger to the community."
