District 204 students host candidate forum

Students from two Indian Prairie Unit District 204 high schools hosted a virtual forum featuring the 11 candidates seeking four seats on the school board.

A recording of the Zoom event, which was streamed live Thursday night, is available on the Waubonsie Valley High School media and communications program's YouTube page.

The forum was moderated by members of two student-run civic engagement organizations, Citizens of Metea Valley and Waubonsie Valley Youth & Government. Student-generated questions centered around candidate platforms, school board policies and interests pertaining directly to students and their academic experiences.

The recording is available at www.youtube.com/watch?v=huiBnnXcXSk&t=3412s.
