COVID19 mobile testing in Lake County

A COVID-19 mobile testing unit is coming to Mundelein, Highland Park and Lake Villa this week, the Lake County Health Department said in a news release.

Free testing will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Thursday at Mundelein Metra Station, 205 N. Archer Ave., Mundelein; Friday at Highland Park Country Club, 1201 Park Ave. W., Highland Park; and Saturday at Antioch/Lake Villa Township Center, 1625 Deep Lake Road, Lake Villa.

Testing is open to all. A phone number and name are required to receive testing results. Photo identification and proof of insurance are helpful, but not required. Locations may close early due to inclement weather or if daily testing supplies are exhausted.

All sites will accommodate walk-up individuals. Only viral testing using a nasal swap is provided.
