Recycle holiday lights in Mundelein
Mundelein residents can recycle holiday lights at four locations in town: village hall, 300 Plaza Circle; the public works headquarters, 440 E. Crystal St.; the main fire station, 1000 N. Midlothian Road; or the police station, 221 N. Lake St.
Decorations can be dropped off between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. weekdays through Jan. 31. Bulbs don't have to be removed from strands but should be removed from boxes and plastic.
Lawn ornaments, other decorations or light strands connected to wreaths, garlands or other material will not be accepted.
