Schaumburg hosts drive-through Santa photo op

High atop a hill, the Bravo Ensemble Choir greeted families at the Community Recreation Center Outdoor Stage in Schaumburg Saturday. And Santa waited patiently there for his special visitors.

Families were able to book a visit to Santa's Workshop Drive-Up ahead of time online with the Schaumburg Park District. Each family had about five minutes to take photos with Santa, who was safely socially distanced because of the pandemic.

Masks were required at all times, including during the picture taking.

Children received a holiday treat to take home.

More than 55 families attended the event at 505 N. Springinsguth Road.
