Family home named 'Villa Park Holiday House'
A festive display of twinkling lights has earned a Villa Park family's home the title of "Villa Park Holiday House."
The Villa Park Community Pride Commission will present Andy and Katelyn Fillipp, along with their children, Ben, Violet and Luke, with a special designation for showcasing holiday spirit. The commission will host a short presentation at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
The Fillipp home also was the first residential house, beginning in 2019, to accept unwrapped toys for local kids in the community through the Toy Express Children's Charity, commission members say. Toy Express partners with fire departments, police and businesses to give toys to children in need during the holidays.
