Arlington Heights to host virtual town hall on diversity Thursday

Arlington Heights leaders will host a virtual town hall Thursday night to discuss the village's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion project.

Residents are invited to share their experiences, perceptions and expectations regarding the project. Attendees will receive an update on the progress of the effort so far, and the village's next steps to sustain a welcoming community for all.

The event begins at 7 p.m. Registration isn't necessary, and the meeting will accommodate up to 100 participants. It also will be recorded and available for viewing on the village website.

This event will be facilitated by the Kaleidoscope Group, which the village hired earlier this year to help guide the diversity project. Representatives of the village, school districts and other local government agencies will be in attendance.

For a link to the town-hall session and other information, visit the village's website, www.vah.com.
